Teaching Technique #4 - Mindfulness

At the end of 2020 NESA announced that Student/child mental health is now one of their four priorities for teacher professional learning. Mindfulness is a practice that we can bring into our Community Language School classes to address this NESA priority.

In this session you will practice Mindfulness as Kara has learned to teach it through her teacher training with Mindfulness in Schools Project; Mindful Schools; Dr Amy Saltzman; Mindfullness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR); Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).


Times: Monday 9th August 3:00 - 3:45pm and Thursday 12th August 6:00 - 6:46pm
